SV	En er was een man te Maon, en zijn bedrijf was te Karmel; en die man was zeer groot, en hij had drie duizend schapen, en duizend geiten; en hij was in het scheren zijner schapen te Karmel.
WLC	וְאִ֨ישׁ בְּמָעֹ֜ון וּמַעֲשֵׂ֣הוּ בַכַּרְמֶ֗ל וְהָאִישׁ֙ גָּדֹ֣ול מְאֹ֔ד וְלֹ֛ו צֹ֥אן שְׁלֹֽשֶׁת־אֲלָפִ֖ים וְאֶ֣לֶף עִזִּ֑ים וַיְהִ֛י בִּגְזֹ֥ז אֶת־צֹאנֹ֖ו בַּכַּרְמֶֽל׃
Trans.	wə’îš bəmā‘wōn ûm^a‘ăśēhû ḇakarəmel wəhā’îš gāḏwōl mə’ōḏ wəlwō ṣō’n šəlōšeṯ-’ălāfîm wə’elef ‘izzîm wayəhî biḡəzōz ’eṯ-ṣō’nwō bakarəmel:

AC	ב ואיש במעון ומעשהו בכרמל והאיש גדול מאד ולו צאן שלשת אלפים ואלף עזים ויהי בגזז את צאנו בכרמל
ASV	And there was a man in Maon, whose possessions were in Carmel; and the man was very great, and he had three thousand sheep, and a thousand goats: and he was shearing his sheep in Carmel.
BE	Now there was a man in Maon whose business was in Carmel; he was a great man and had three thousand sheep and a thousand goats: and he was cutting the wool of his sheep in Carmel.
Darby	And there was a man at Maon, whose business was at Carmel; and the man was very great, and he had three thousand sheep and a thousand goats; and he was shearing his sheep at Carmel.
ELB05	Und es war ein Mann in Maon, der seine Geschäfte zu Karmel hatte; und der Mann war sehr vermögend und hatte dreitausend Schafe und tausend Ziegen; und er war während der Schur seiner Schafe in Karmel.

Sch	Und es war ein Mann zu Maon, der hatte sein Gewerbe zu Karmel; und dieser Mann war von sehr großem Vermögen, und er hatte dreitausend Schafe und tausend Ziegen; und es begab sich, daß er seine Schafe zu Karmel scheren ließ.
